Rob has over 24 years of experience working with IT and business systems. During this time, he has become an industry leader, regularly providing his commentary on pertinent issues and developments. After graduating in Business IT at university, Rob worked around the world, assisting businesses with expansion and consolidation of their IT systems. He now leads QuoStar by providing strategy and vision for the business whilst also remaining active with clients, giving insight and solutions for their various business challenges and opportunities.
James began his career in financial services after successfully studying for a BSc in Information Systems Management at university. Having worked in senior IT security roles at several multinational firms including JPMorgan and Citigroup, James has experience managing the delivery of high-profile global projects. He now leads the day to day running of the business support and account management functions within QuoStar, ensuring the business continues to deliver a high level of service and range of services to its clients.
John Knowles is a businessman with huge international experience and success. John grew DEK International, from a small factory in Weymouth through to complete world and industry dominance. John now works with the QuoStar teams to position and build the business within key sectors, internationally.
Chris started his IT career in Financial Services and held senior roles in NPI, Shroders and other firms. He then moved to become CIO at the international law firm Ashurst before holding further CIO roles at Kennedys and Mimecast. He was previously the Global CIO at international law firm Clyde & Co and now sits on QuoStar's board as a consultant to lead the CIO Service, providing ambitious businesses with CIO-level skills on a flexible, tailored basis.
Simon’s role within QuoStar is to drive improvement within Technical Operations, enabling us to continue expanding the range of products and solutions that we offer to our clients. Simon has over 15 years of experience delivering IT services to small, medium and large enterprises. He has a degree in Business Information Technology and is also a certified ISO 20000 and ITIL practitioner. Simon additionally consults as a key account manager and virtual IT Director for several of our clients, alongside his main role.
Miles’ role at QuoStar is to build and strengthen the partnerships we have with our clients. By discussing their current situation and strategic objectives, Miles enables our analysts to build highly effective, business-enhancing solutions. Miles is also often found attending both QuoStar and key industry events where he learns the specific issues and challenges being faced by local businesses. Allowing us to uniquely provide a service which addresses their concerns and meets their requirements.
Becca is responsible for ensuring smooth operations throughout the business and manages the bulk of the back-office function, such as purchasing, billing, financial administration and contracts. By liaising with vendors, Becca ensures optimum value is being delivered to QuoStar’s clients and relevant solutions are available to address their challenges. Becca also oversees and implements internal business improvement projects, focusing on increasing efficiencies and improving the service we deliver to our clients.
Rebecca has over a decade of experience in HR and possesses chartered CIPD status, a BSc (Hons) in Sociology with Human Resource Management and an MSc in Management with Human Resources – giving her a wealth of expertise to draw from. By working closely with senior management and the whole QuoStar team, Rebecca ensures the people, resources and knowledge are in place to deliver on the business’ wider strategy of growth and continual improvement. Rebecca is also responsible for the employee lifecycle - ensuring we acquire, grow and retain the right talent for the long-term.
Beth leads the QuoStar brand both locally and nationally, raising awareness of our skills and expertise to business leaders and IT experts. Beth oversees all marketing activity including campaign design and management, web development and PR which is backed by her BA (Hons) in Multimedia Journalism. Beth is also responsible for organising client and corporate events, including our regular charity events which support local charities such as the Wessex Cancer Trust.
Reece holds ultimate technical responsibility for client estates and manages the delivery of both internal and external IT projects. Reece is also a lead architect, designing bespoke solutions to clients’ sometimes complex requirements. Having graduated from Southampton Solent University studying BA Hons Business Studies, Reece has since acquired 23 years of in-depth industry experience. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications, such as MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, ITIL Foundation and Cisco CCNA.
Darren’s BSc (Hons) in Media Technology and Production alongside 15 years of experience managing change and strategic growth for a varied set of clients ensures he can consistently deliver measurable business gains. Darren is a focal point internally and externally - ensuring a true partnership is forged between all those involved in delivering and receiving an outstanding service. This naturally includes clients, vendors, third-parties and QuoStar’s own consulting and IT service teams.
Austin holds responsibility for several client-facing services at QuoStar including analysis and mitigation of security risks, applying technology for an advantage, and design and delivery of bespoke IT strategies. Alongside Account Management, Austin also helps advance clients’ operations through the continual improvement framework and strategic development. Austin possesses eight years’ experience in business IT gained through multiple senior technical roles and has proven expertise in the fields of technical consultancy, project delivery and IT strategy.
Tom leads the QuoStar Service Desk, using his eight years’ experience in IT roles (including for world-leading and multi-national firms) to deliver value-enhancing projects within Service Desk processes. He also manages escalations to QuoStar’s other technical teams and ensures the individual engineers operate as an effective team. By holding certifications for both ITIL and PRINCE2, Tom can not only drive highly successful improvement projects, but also deliver constantly increasing value to clients through continual improvement.
