Telemarketing Executive

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (DOE) OTE £40,000 + excellent benefits

Job Overview

To work with the Business Development Team to increase our client base in line with Company strategy. The primary focus of this role is to locate and qualify new prospects by generating interest in the company’s products and services

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities for the Sales team
  • Achieving campaign and activity targets and objectives
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations
  • Receive requests for products and services details from prospects and provide timely responses
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible service
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
  • Enter all sales leads and prospects into the company CRM system
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities within the company CRM system and ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures
  • Speaking with decision-makers to identify opportunities
  • Work through a daily list of sales activities
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy
  • Review IT publications and online resources to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry
  • Maintaining quality information within our CRM system – HubSpot
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to understand campaigns
  • To become involved in other tasks/duties as required

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Two years of telephone-based prospecting and relationship building
  • An understanding of IT services and products, managed IT services or IT consulting
  • Proven track record of building successful client relationships
  • Proficient with general Office applications
  • Enjoy working with clients and external audiences with strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Valid driving licence

Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level
