Job purpose

You will join a talented team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth running and delivery of IT projects through continued project excellence.  You will work closely with Professional Services Consultants to deliver a range of Managed IT projects requiring onsite support. This is predominantly a client facing role requiring excellent communication and written skills.

About you

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. Experience of working within an IT MSP capacity is essential. The right candidate will be self-driven, have a can-do attitude and be willing to help out in other areas of the business if and when required. As part of the role, you’ll need to have access to your own car and hold a valid UK driving license. • Work closely with the Professional Services team to plan and deliver projects on time and on budget
• Project lifecycle management
• Internal project resource management
• Risk, change and escalation
• Customer project delivery
• Resource management and scheduling
• Tracking and reporting project delivery both internally and to the customer
• Chairing project highlight meetings and driving good practice and project excellence
• Principle point of contact for customers during project delivery
• Follow policies and procedures in line with QuoStar’s ISO20000 and ISO27001 accreditations
• Undertake any training required by QuoStar
• Strive for continuous improvement in everything you do
• To become involved in other tasks/duties as required
• Be part of our out of hours emergency support rota
• Take ownership of issues and resolve these as expediently as possible, including doing extra research as required when you face unfamiliar technologies
• Learn about and improve your technical knowledge of QuoStar’s catalogue of preferred technical solutions
• Share your knowledge, experience and work ethic with team members so that we can all develop and exceed our standards
• Become involved in other tasks/duties as required
• Client facing role whereby travel and onsite support is expected
• Supporting Professional Service Lead Consultants during project delivery
• Delivery of small tactical projects
• Overflow to Service Desk if and when required

Essential experience, skills and qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar role
• Willingness and capacity to work extra hours and attend site if and when required
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Full, clean UK driving license
• Willing to help out in other areas if and when required
